Evening Family Events
The fun doesn’t stop at dinner time! Adults and kids look forward to evening activities as a fun time to interact with and be entertained by our staff.
MONDAY NIGHT:
“SPORTS NIGHT”
Includes a much-anticipated adult basketball game of guests vs. staff, kids soccer, official bocce ball, beanbag toss, volleyball, kickball, and supervised kids activity.
TUESDAY NIGHT:
“SQUARE DANCE”
Features both a kids’ and adult dance including such hits as the “Virginia Reel” and the “Electric Slide,” and kids“Chicken Dance” and “dance medley,” just to name a few. Everyone enjoys cutting a rug with a live dance caller.
WEDNESDAY NIGHT:
“FANCY DINNER / KIDS’ BBQ”
Wednesday night is a fun night for the adults to dress up and enjoy wood-plank salmon, prime rib, and some adult beverages. They can relax knowing their kids are enjoying a supervised barbecue with our attentive staff.
THURSDAY NIGHT:
“THE SKI SHOW”
Thursday’s “Ski Show” will thrill and entertain as the staff performs a variety of beach and water acts to show you their skills. Slalom waterskiing, wakeboarding, barefooting, climbing acts including a pyramid, and more are all showcased as our staff directors MC you through the evening. (Check out this video for a teaser…)
Many other options for evening entertainment include nightly campfire gatherings, playing pool or ping pong in the recreation hall, or enjoying the starry night skies from docks or beachfront decks. Nearby downtown Elk Rapids offers ice cream shops, movies, or night life.
